Google beats earnings, CNBC provides unintentional comedy (GOOG)

AlphaNinja - Utter buffoonery from CNBC. Google reported revenue ex-TAC (traffic acquisition costs, the payments to ad partners) of $4.07billion, slightly above the street estimate of $4.06billion, and earnings came in ahead by 27cents.

Always eager to entertain, the fools at CNBC pulled a $3.07billion number out of their nether regions, freaking people out left and right.

God bless DVR's.
