Heartwarming story of the day

Supermodel Miranda Kerr has spoken out in defense of the poor lad who was caught oggling nearly-nude pics of her while his colleague was giving an on-air interview.

"I am told there is a petition to save his job and of course I would sign it," said Kerr, who is in Australia.

And according to Bloomberg, the young guy kept his job!  Good stuff, mistakes happen.

"While a Macquarie Private Wealth worker discussed interest rates live on Australia’s 7 News on Feb. 2, an employee could be seen in the background opening several semi-nude photographs on his desktop, before turning to look at the camera.

“An internal review into the events has been completed,” said Laura Bramwell, a spokeswoman for Macquarie, Australia’s largest investment bank. “This review has been discussed with the employee and action taken. He will remain an employee. Macquarie and the employee apologize for any offense that may have been caused.” The bank declined to name the individual."
