Not a typo: EU politely asks that Greece pay public employees 12months of pay for 12 months of work

And some wonder why Greece is among the highest probabilities of default, according to CMA Datavision.

From the WSJ, reporting on the horrific austerity measure being forced upon Greek public employees.  Among them are a request from the EU that Greece stop paying public employees 14months salary for 12months work:

"The EU in these talks has also asked Athens to cut one of two extra months of pay that public-sector workers now get over and above their normal 12-month salary—a move the government is resisting, according to the people."
